Inside NOVA: Laquan Austion earns Republican nomination in Virginia House District 2
Laquan Austion has officially earned the Republican nomination in the race for the open Second District House of Delegates seat.
Austion announced the news on March 31, as he works to fill the Prince William and Stafford seat vacated by GOP Del. Mark Dudenhefer. The two-term delegate revealed that he wouldn’t run for re-election back in January.
“I made a promise to not be out-worked, and that promise led the party in coalescing around our campaign,” Austion said in a statement. “I'm looking forward to expanding our message and discussing the issues that impact our region."
